Wind Through Quiet Tensions
A book about personal healing, uncertainty, and optimism.
I’m out of stock of the book, except for a couple misprints (fully functional book, but the cover is on upside down; contact me if you’d like one of those). You can currently purchase the book through Buddy Chicago.
Originally published in 2014, Wind Through Quiet Tensions is a combination of memoir and contemplations. The first section focuses on a twelve-year period of my life: my journey with mental illness, psychotherapy, and therapeutic applications of yoga and ayurveda. The second section is a collection of working theories: musings on what it meant for me to be sick and how I’ve been able to heal.
Wind Through Quiet Tensions is designed by Matt Austin and features my drawings preceding each section.
This paperback edition was published in 2014 by Candor Arts.
The first edition was published by The Chicago Perch, a creative platform for social exchange. There is a hand-bound, hardcover edition of 50 (sold out) and a perfectbound edition of 250 (sold out).
